Heard some rumbles that salaried are getting a bonus? Thought SW was in trouble financially and that's why we laid off 100+ people. Nothing coming for the hourly workers actually working their butts off, instead of the salaried team who is doing nothing?

They don't care about the hourly employees. They want the long-term FT people pushed out and off the books to be replaced by PT or seasonal staff that are clueless about former benefits so they have no one to answer to.
Basically here is some money please don’t leave.
Anyone here ever heard of stirring the pot? Everything they've done serves their purpose.
Here's an Ambassador IQ test for you.
Is it better for SW's reputation and pocket book to:
- lay people off and pay their severance gaining yet more negative news?
- p-ss the f#ck out of what's left of the tenured ambassadors so they leave on their own (with little more that a middle finger displayed as a scene)?
From reading some of these posts..... it's working quiet nicely!
Correct on no bonuses per say, but Salaried received stock during this time.
No longer SW employed, but salaried - no raise for over five years, additional work. You are wrong to say they sit on their asses.. I worked my a– off. You are also wrong to think they don't care about the hourly employees. They are stressed and doing the best they can. Back off.nn
I know from the I.T side the Director or Senior leadership collect 6 figures a year and bonus at the end of the year. While the rest of his staff works O.T and ridicules hours they sit pretty.
On October 3, 2019, in connection with its regular review of compensation matters, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. (the “Company”), approved certain equity awards designed to recognize employees for their contribution and continued expected contributionto the Company and its long term goals. To that end, time restricted awards with a grant date fair value of $175,000 were granted on October 3, 2019
Its true, Q4 bonus for salaried
Heard that’s true as well. Wonder how they would feel if there were no hourly people to actually do the work & be the backbone of the company.
