Not any time soon
Lease agreements are NEVER published online. News outlets may publish speculation but for corporate security reasons, not published. Building sales, sales of real property, are published through the county recorder's office. Many times commercial buildings sell without any interruption to lessee. It is possible that building improvements could be for future tenant but also to increase building value for resale. Your best bet is to check with the state dept of revenue to see the expiration of any tax abatements VZ received. If the abatement period is over or only in infancy, closing the building would have a higher %.
Where online is it located? Had heard the building had sold in Feb. When is the lease up?
Does anyone know if tenured call center employees will be offered severance or if any centers are closing?
They are currently remodeling my center and I have heard of rumors of this being done before closures. I also found the lease agreement online which indicates the building is for sale and Verizon has not renewed its lease.
The company has been telling us the changes are being made by them for us but in reality its being made by the owners of the building (not verizon) because the building is for sale
The way the call volume and wait time setup, no one needs to close! Be thankful you have a job!
