Hmmm. Nothing about the purge of Lending Mangers, Senior Lending Managers, and 2 District Directors that occurred Friday October 5th? Huge amount of lending managers were let go in order to align management with the ever dwindling retail home lending advisors (loan offices) in Chase Retail Mortgage. This needed to happen. But who stayed and who was let go is certainly open to question and is mostly the result of wether or not the the guy at the top (Bailey) was a friend or foe of yours. In any event, this is not the end of this. Make no mistake. Chase will only have retail loan officers in the largest of branches in the months/years to come. Management is spending its time figuring out what is a A, B, or C branch as relates to mortgage. Only A branches will have retail loan officers. Everything else will be a call center. Chase hopes existing loan officers will quit (they call it attrition) so they don't have to pay you severance. In the meantime they strangle your source of business away (the branches). Hey Chase, be careful how you treat you employees. Courts exist for a reason. Stay tuned. This is only the beginning. Chases quest to become "Quicken" continues.

As much as I question some of their moves when it come to strategic planning, discrimination is NOT prevalent at Chase. Women are everywhere and in positions of power. Minorities are also in many managerial positions. You must not work at the firm if you really believe this, or else you are not paying attention.
JPMC settled a discrimination suit by black employees recently, that should answer your question.
they are very efficient at hidding diacrimination, hiw many black or minority managers in Tampa? anyone....
