Well don’t be surprised when you look at enrollment that your health deductibles etc. going up...only for salary not the hourly as that was negotiated with no increase. Interesting that was not mentioned with the pension freeze. Continue keep slapping the US salary because they can!

Healthcare costs have gone up every year of the 16 I’ve been with GE. This is nothing new. In fact, this year’s increase was modest by comparison.
The pension cut, however, was a big “F-You” by Culp to his most dedicated employees. He’s making damn sure he gets his, no matter the cost to anyone else.
The thing about the gravy train is to make sure you’re on it.
I have to say the union negotiated a sweet deal. See link. It only makes sense that US salaried pick up the tab, right? None of it matters since GE's debt is so outrageous that the slightest uptick in interest rates totally negates their pension action. And it seems that every single "mistake" these fools make costs another $5billion. The way Jack and Jeff set us up, it would not surprise me if we turnover many more rocks finding $billions in liabilities for years to come. But it will be a slow bleed-out so our execs have ample time to ride the money train. Hell, John just jumped back on. Apparently he couldn't get enough on his first gravy train ride.

Since I left on my own the money is better, healthcare better, benefits .... everything.... those afraid to leave because let’s face it ... the cookie cutter Leaders...cough cough can’t make it in real industry.... so...they stay and drink the Jimmy Jones style....I have heart for those close to retirement .... they are the ones getting completely messed over!
Stay off the junk food, ditch the smokes, don’t blow a gasket every time someone pisses you off, and exercise daily then you won’t get sick and don’t need healthcare.
