What about the people who were recently laid off? (Not that I think any of them want to return to this place, most of the ones I know feel like they've escaped prison since they left Oracle.) But I am interested to know if they will be given a chance to apply or not...

No real jobs just customer facing comms and social media. Off-site. Asian helps but cannot mention new baby billionaires.

Anyone with little common sense who got laidoff and have gotten the package, will not go back. Everyone waited for the package to jump ship for free. Why go back to hell hole and suffer all over again ? Plus, you might have to give back a portion of the package. Oracle paid you to gain freedom. That is the best outcome. Cloud market already matured. Oracle will need to steal customers away from the big three. What is the possibility ? Oracle unable to compete in term of features nor price. Its own customers are leaving left and right.
