Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Happy With Your Merit Increase?

I hope you're happy with it cause this is all you're getting till this time next year! Did you get 1%? Less than 1%? 2%? 3%? Wow you must really be doing something right to get 3%! or more! You were probably promoted and got 3% as your promotion raise. Isn't that grand?

One wonders what they're thinking. This company is already in the sh-tter talent wise. No one knows anything, no one really does anything. No one is enabled by their managers or the systems or processes being put in place to do anything.

Note to SSNC customer: Fly you fools!

Do any of you ever think that you are the problem with why the company isn't growing? You are saying it here that you take 2hr lunches and do nothing but still take a paycheck from a company that you talk ill about. What makes you think you deserve anymore than you got? Hide behind your keyboards but in reality you are just blood s—ing leeches that slow down or stop innovation because you are upset. Maybe stop being such a miserable human being or just be miserable somewhere else.

You mean trickle down doesn't trickle down? I never would have guessed that.

I do nothing all day, as do a few of my coworkers. 2 hour lunches and we come in late and leave early. Oh and work from home whenever we want.

It’s ok if the merit raise s—s. We got cake jobs.

Considering we got 2 and the national average is 3%, I would say we are pretty much where we need to be. Yes, they were smaller because we had in the same year, but any mo–n knows you're better off to get it sooner.

Shhhhh. Most of us do nothing and like getting a paycheck. Don’t ruin it.

My recommendation is anyone who updated their branding to remove DST hold on to the scripts they used, will be needed again when the org is spun off to new buyers.

Here in the UK it seems all former DST employees are going to get 0% again with a handful of exceptions.

I've never had a 0% pay rise in my career but now i'm looking at two in a row.

My department alone has seen it's workload more than double yet we've had 1/3 of our department hand their notice in within the last 6 months and none are being replaced with over 40 years of irreplaceable experience walking out of the door.

Quality is suffering, mistakes are now rife and clients are starting to comment. I expect we'll be seeing a lot more clients leaving and moving to our competitors
