Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Considering Small Claims Court

Been trying to politely get about $60 in travel expenses back since August. Might I add was involved with the massive lay-off July 31st. Apparently corporate is doing what they are doing correctly. Store Manager is sitting on his hands... My concern is a bad reference if a possible new employer contacts the store for feedback. Do not wait before entering your travel expenses. My access was ended as soon as I was told I no longer had a job. Be careful! Get reimbursed as soon as you put out your own cash be it travel or shopping for the store. Looks like we will be going to see Joseph Wapner. He corp, it is not too late so save a considerable sum of cash...

You should sue for a day of pay being in the court house, interest on the arrears and any other expense you could add in. With all the money store managers make (total bonus is more than most full time salaries) they should be ashamed of themselves. The manager may think you will go away and not lower the BOTTOM LINE. If they give you the $60, it goes out of their bonus. Great system set up by LOWES corporate. Just goes to show they live up to their name by treating you so LOWes.
