why are DRO's still around

just curious. seems like UP isn't taking PSR as seriously as they claim. cutting a lot of low level workers but there is still a lot of fat at the top. guess it's not what you know but who you know.

Kindof like how they got rid of the DTO’s by promoting them to superintendents. Lol. We showed them. Here’s a pay raise and a promotion. Times are tough guys. Deal with it.

I heard the DOO is a temporary job created for the DRO's. Not sure how long it's going to last, but it sounds like another way show a job cut but actually they're creating another job.

Last thing I heard was they created a do nothing job called a DOO for the remaining DROs. Except for Commuter Ops, those managers are waiting for the takeover from METRA.
