Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Mileage end of quarter

Anyone else notice second quarter in a row mileage is down until tomorrow...hmm something is really fishy about this??? Delay payments until November now so they can bolster q3 earnings. Marvin and co are grimy, spineless godless individuals who lack and fore thought into actually growing sales through original ideas and treating employees well. What a company we work for!!!

I apologize. Yes, you are correct, mileage should be reimbursed electronically on your next paycheck.

Thanks that’s exactly what I’m saying...something is rather afoul by delaying this the exact same way we did q2...significant amount of “margin” to report.

Actually, the person's comment is not disputing the mileage rate (which is set by the IRS at the beginning of each calendar year) but pointing out that the Lowe's computer system is not processing mileage reimbursements, thereby delaying reimbursement payments. Lowe's may not set the rate, but Lowe's is responsible for delaying reimbursement payments to employees.

Mileage allowance is determined by the current price of gasoline. If fuel goes up, then the allowance will go up, and vice versa. Lowe’s has nothing to do with it.
