Anyone else hearing anything on them bringing a version of the audit team back?

@5ccb is right. Some things can not be inventoried without the smart system. More than likely, inventory will be done by 3rd party and that's that. If they can do it for Walmart which has many many more items then they can do it for Sam's.
Doubtful, in fact Sam's will probably adopt walmarts way of inventories. Company comes in, counts, and books #'s and they call it a day. With no computers or access to older systems the current way of inventory will hardly be possible. Walmart doesnt audit, Sam's wont either. It is what it is. Shrinks a write off to home office. They're not concerned how it affects bonuses at club level.
Yeah, we don't count or look for missed items at the door. Not anymore. We are on a 10 second time limit. Scan their receipt and one item in the cart, and on to the next. Trust me when I say, we aren't doing anything but trying to stay at 90% or above on our time. Otherwise, we're called to the office.
Speaking of shrink my friends at the door said these people are stealing hard left and right since they can't count the items anymore. The Inventory should be interesting this week.

Members are loving checking themselves out, pay only for what you want. Shrink will continue to get even worse with all this ridiculous shortage of people, everyone is overworked and underpaid. Too many receiving errors as well, with all this auto receive. Not to mention with the reduction of force. We are constantly rushed to hurry up and do more and more with less people.
What's an aggressive schedule?
I heard it’s coming back, but a more aggressive schedule. Apparently the self scan has driven shrink through the roof.
