Walmart Enters Healthcare Industry

Before you laugh, remember how we laughed when Walmart got into the grocery business. and now they're one of its largest players. Walmart is the largest company in the world by revenues so you'd better be taking this seriously.

They have the backing of big business and obviously the regulators as well, who approved their license to operate as a healthcare provider. One might consider all the industry layoffs recently in relation to this news.
One of Walmart's prime objectives is to eliminate waste and redundancy, and according to this study, there's a whole lot of it.

When big business talks about eliminating waste and redundancy, they mean eliminating jobs, and in this case there's literally hundreds of billions in 'redundancy and waste' according to the study.

Translation; Mass layoffs and pay cuts. Do you really think Walmart will employ as many nurses as hospitals do? Or pay them as much as hospitals and care providers?

Get ready.

Well if that happens then we do what many other Americans have had to do and retrain ourselves. Any news about layoffs?

Much of the waste and redundancy is the hospitals themselves, which require so much administration and act as much like a hotel as a health care provider. I can easily see hospitals going the way of the dinosaur, being replaced in large part by these "Health Centers."

This alone would wipe out close to half the nurse jobs in the US.
