Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

All the Best to You All

I’ve been with Nestle since we were Edys Ice Cream. I think while we all knew it was headed in this direction we kinda hoped it wouldn’t. It’s with a heavy heart that I leave this company that has given me so much. I’ve been able to provide for a family, buy a home and live comfortably. The company always did right by me and I’ll leave here in two days being thankful, not bitter.

Thanks to all of you who made my time here awesome and I’ll remember you all. I’ll always look back fondly at my time here. To all of my fellow Nestle/Kraft/Edys co-workers I simply say...all the best you and your families. Here’s to friends helping friends.

Ditto my Edy’s friend’s! I too started 19 years ago. It ended today. They were good to me as well over the years. I loved working for my boss and the people I’ve been able to call my friends today. We all did the best we could. Nestle is not the first company or the last to take something good and ruin it. Too many know it alls, that know absolutely nothing. Hold your head high and remember, there is life after Nestle! Cheers!

glad we got out before they sold the frozen food division, they ruined pizza line and thought they could do better than Kraft, and they lost so much door space on the ice cream line, they get what they deserved ,FAILURE

Well said my friend. I too started with Edys 18 years ago. Tomorrow is the end. There is no such thing as a perfect job, but this was good to me and my family. I truly enjoyed going to work every day and will miss it and the people I’ve met over the years. To my fellow nestle workers, cheers.
