Anyone know when we will see this payout?

beware "special dividend has higher tax rate" than your long-term-gain
If you believe NLOK will rise after the special dividend gets paid out, then hold on to the stock so you can capture the rise in value post divident. If you believe the stock will stay the same or fall, the then it becomes a tax issue and when you want to pay capital gains, i.e., 2019 or 2020 tax years. Just some thoughts on how I think about this issue.
Once the special dividend of $12 is paid on the NLOK stock (previously SYMC) in Q4, will the NLOK stock price automatically decline by the $12 amount? If so, what is the benefit of waiting for the special dividend vs selling now?
Said on the earnings call that company confirmed intent to issue $12 per share special dividend in the 4th quarter fiscal 2020.
