Another id–t. Replace a SLB with a HAL. HAL is the flavor of the year at WFT. Not sure that the SLB guys are not better than HAL guys. That does not include Dean Bell who should have never been allowed to be there.
You would have to throw absurd amounts of money at a competent executive to get them to leave a position at a financially healthy company to take on this goat rodeo. That really is their only option unfortunately. Weatherford never seems committed to developing talent internally leaving no hope of a succession plan despite frequent lip service to the contrary.
The guy they hired is getting 500k signing bonus. I mean how is a compang burning cash like no tomorrow spending 500k on a signing bonus.
Let’s see if the next one can do a worse job than CB, it’s gonna be difficult but im sure Weatherford can manage to find the wrong person for the job as they usually do.
