What areas were impacted and how many?

Data science doesn't mean squat if you don't have the industrial and operations engineers to actually implement them. There's a wealth of best practice metrics known in the retail industry for customer service, for white goods like appliances, for customer service, for on site service like in A&E, for warranties and returns, for customer retention, for use of retail space, and for investment, and Eddie used NONE of them. He's in love with the term metrics and data, but his understanding of it is like a kindergartner wanting to be an astronaut, and then never bothering to expand his knowledge for the next 15 years, convinced that he knows better than everyone else because he built a rocket ship with Duplo bricks.
That guy awhile back who said Sears was going to be Innovel + IT in Hoffman is looking pretty prescient
Ah Data Scientists, all the nannies to nurse their genius baby that is SYW.
What about all the “Data Scientists” running around? Lol. Eddie and Leena need an Army of these people to tell them how horrific they’ve run the business.
300 from HE, SF had some.
I heard mostly the business areas at HE... none from I.T. that I know of.
I heard almost 400 between HE and SF
Not sure of the total, but downtown and HE hit pretty hard.
