CSW has seen a significant drop in work. With the retirements it's going to be interesting to see what will happen in the next couple months. Why now though? Why continue to build this new building if they are going to layoff so many people and slow work? People are working on jobs that were originally slated for February. I just want someone with some real answers to come forward

Oh yeah and Harris has the radios that integrate right into the terminals.
Also need to look at the product lines. Seems like CSW came up with a great product line some years back and then only made slight variations to come up with other "products." If Harris has the newer better faster shinier terminal, then CSW is definitely at risk.
You have to look at the redundancies; look at how CSW was wondering how the price point on the Harris SATCOM terminals they were selling would change. If you're redundant and reselling equipment the company you merged with produced; then you're set to be eliminated.
The answer is on the New Harris Nexus web site, that is there for all employees to read for themselves. How to Answer Customer Questions, how the merger will save them money. Reduction in production head count and severance ECT...
CSW is doing great financially, they even gave employees a $25 holiday bonus.
That's pretty vague. So they are going to move hunreds of people from florida to sl to take over positions? Makes no sense
Isn't CSW a direct competitor to legacy harris in fl.
Harris personnel steering the ship.
Duh, who do you think is going to get spun
But why? Why lay everyone off? It's obvious with the new building l3harris as a company isnt going anywhere. Who's going to do all the work?
It makes sense. Pull in all of 2020 work into cash push for 2019. Lay everyone off afterward
