Dream Center Education Holdings

The following information is being provided as a current status of issues noted in receivership:

Employee Pay

The receiver has funded final paychecks for employees who did not receive their final pay on March 15, 2019. Checks were mailed out in hard copy form via U.S.P.S. on November 12, 2019. Please allow 1-2 weeks from that date for delivery. If, after two weeks, you do not receive your final pay or have questions, please send an inquiry to service@dcedh.org.

2019 Tax Forms

IRS tax forms (to include W2, 1099, 1095 c, etc.) for former employees of DCEH and its schools will be mailed out after January 1, 2020.

Medical Claims

Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH) is in federal receivership. After his appointment, the court-appointed receiver found that employee benefits had not been paid by DCEH. As such, insurance companies under which employees believed they were covered did not process claims. Claims are not able to be processed at this time. The receiver is working with the Department of Labor and the courts to resolve this matter but does not have a solution at this time.

I received my check on Saturday as well. I was quite shocked! I truly didn't expect to ever see a penny of what I was owed. Especially after receiving communication in the mail from the Arizona department of labor about a week ago stating that they have closed the case/claim from my filing against Dream Center.

Received mine in the mail yesterday. Never expected I would receive that final paycheck. Someone finally did the right thing.

I got my check too–less vac pay. Will ask my CPA if I can write off the vac pay still owned on my taxes?

Argosy online adjunct. STUNNED to have received a check in the mail today. I taught 1/2 of a term when things came to a halt. Received pay for the applicable amount of time taught.
It is a check, not a direct deposit receipt.
