Lots of people on the call with Peta, got our verbal that we will have our 60 day notice in our HCL email by end of day Monday. They said we will be required to work the full 60 days to get our severance. Fun Fun.

Well if you didnt get your notice that means you will get to stay longer since they cant terminate you before your 60 day notice. Not sure if that's good or bad.
If you are training a replacement then they likely are delaying it as they probably dont feel ready. If your job didnt have a purpose and you are just being eliminated then they probably screwed up and forgot to send the notice to some people.
Well, here it is Wednesday morning and still no separation date notice from HCL. All my local team members have received theirs. No explanation from my manager. Yes, I’ve checked my Spam folders, etc. I’m interested in hearing from others who haven’t received their notices yet.
We were told we were getting our notices by monday as well and no one got them. HCL cant even do layoffs right.
If you were on the call you are on the list, I'm sorry to say. If you don't get an email, you'd want to contact the manager in question as your date is up. You just didn't get notice due a slip up.
I’m one of the analysts who was invited to the call, but I still haven’t received the official separation letter, even though the other analysts I know got theirs on Friday evening. I’m wondering if this is the case for anyone else. I won’t get my hopes up, obviously, but I think it strange that my letter hasn’t arrived yet. Still 3 hours in the business day left, though...
We also received verbal warning in Canada that our 60 days notice would arrive by monday. Sounded like they have to get them out to hit a date they promised Xerox. It doesnt mean you are done in 60 days but as they get closer to that 60 day period you will get another email giving you 2 weeks notice and your final date as well as info on severance. So that would be in the January timeframe but if they are not ready to transition your role they will just hold off on the 2 week notice until they feel they are ready.

Our Production Fiery/FF Analyst was transferred to HCL and laid off. He joined a dealer as a sales person. Guess who knows where ALL the production equipment in the State is? Guess who is flipping millions of $ of Xerox equipment to the competitor because he has 20 year relationships with them. Serves Xerox right.
I’ve most likely worked or interfaced with you over the last 20 years. I feel devastated for you and your family. You will be missed by me and other Xerox colleagues. You were our Xerox technically savvy, feet on the street who also had the skill of relationships with our customers. You will be missed.. Godspeed!
