Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Thank you Demos

Sometimes us employees and management needs to thank demos and the demo manager for what they do for us, they are usually the reasons our sales go up at times, been with sams 20+ years and always thank them.

Complaining about demo people lol, you need better relationships with your club and assets.....like the “demo people”, they’re great people in our club, get treated bad but they brush it off and keep on doing.

I’m gonna have to agree with that person, demos deserve way more than how they are treated, they are treated like they aren’t a part of us “sams” when they are doing our sales and helping us with members when we all know none are available when needed, I thank them everyday especially the demo manager...also if you see them eating like you said then speak up, if not and you are seeing it and not saying anything then you’re part of the problem or you must just not like demos, but yes appreciate them and treat them like they are a part of us because they do do a lot for us even when we turn a blind eye, a lot of us associates know this and know what I’m talking about.
On half of the sams club in our store THANK YOU demos.

If management isn’t saying anything then that’s us as a company’s fault, or if you see and not say anything then that’s your fault, if I see something unsanitary I say something...if you see and just letting it go then that makes it to believe you’re grabbing samples as well?? But all clubs are different.

I’m just saying we need to appreciate them more, I talked to the demos manager and they don’t have a say in what they demo, it’s paid by vendors, which demos sale which goes towards our sams share.

Ive NEVER seen any of the demos eat. Im cracking up at that visual. I appreciate them but I dislike when they demo items that already sale. How about we do the items that are new/seasonal 😭😭😭

Its unsanitary to put food in your mouth, with your gloves on, and then handle food. Yes I am judging because it is DISGUSTING. Sampling your product is one thing. Continually eating between every member, us another. Spin it anyway you want, its nasty.

Demos are the reason we get our Sam share, I appreciate them because they do sell our items and members love it, they deal with more members then associates do. Yes they do eat at the carts sometimes but who says their not sampling so they can tell members how it tastes? You cannot judge as associates from our side (sams) does the same things.

I appreciate the demos in our club ..I feel like they are treated badly tho ..the club manager wont let them sit in our break room and accusses them of eating our food i think its horrible the way they get treated

Our demo people constantly eat their product while doing their demo. Its disgusting. Then when they come off the floor, they are all in the back chowing down on the leftovers. Nasty.
