The latest indicator of changes coming is the new phone menu!
Departments are being consolidated in another effort to cut more customer service staffing. This isn’t a hunch or a rumor. I overheard our Store manager talking to our district manager about how they’re going to handle it.
Marvin and Joe are obviously very desperate to maximize short term results!!!

Seems to me you can make a lot of money and reduce expenses greatly if you have few or no employees. Circuit City replaced its longtime employees with high school and college students and look what happened to them. It is a cautionary tale but it could happen to Lowe's too.
Lowes is more toxic than phosphene gas.
The Gatorade thing is a violation of the discount policy and is a terminable offense. Its not an excuse.
Considering the phone menu is only consolidated to an extent, it isn’t an indication of anything. If you think they’re going to put flooring, fashion bath, and kitchens together because they go together on the initial part of the phone money you’re crazy. If you select that option then it breaks it down and asks which of the 3 you want. If they listed every area out individually there would be way to many menus to have to go through. Awesome effort though.

Everyone should post on Glassdoor, and all the other employment sites to warn people about taking a job with Lowe’s. This company has become a Toxic Employer in the past 1 1/2 years.
And it doesn’t end, it continues to worsen daily!
You literally don’t know from one day to the next if you are employed. I wish everyone the best of luck in finding another job and getting away from this madness.
beware corporate using tactics to fire employees, several employees fired for price matching Gatorade prices from competitors and then using employee discount on top of no warning just gone
