There is a serious trend of treating employees like garbage and our so called HR dept is an adversarial tool of greedy execs. And it is greed come on wake up! Their are small firms that succeed that still provide health benefits to employees.

The agenda of company that claims transparency but is most hypocritical in its moves is clear : screw little guy and at least on this board HR id–ts and retirees who worked in some golden age of laziness attack us workers who bust our @sses trying to get by.

Let’s talk Union. 600 some posts about the free work week (yes in 2020 your w2 will show 51 weeks pay for 52 weeks and I don’t care what bs you have about deferred payments it’s book cooking and I’ve
Told friends to say trade on stock in Q1. The company is run by greedy execs whose bonuses exceed pay by multipler of what -0d or more? Did I use my Oxford comma?

Let’s form a Union and sure we have to negotiate from zero but this downward slide is horse bleep. The arb agreement, zero work week, greedy execs who claim CI is for our benefit....all BS from greedy greedy executives.

Ok pile HR monitors and retirees who worked with no college for awesome benefits cry me a river or stfu.

I’ve contacted labor organizers and they are VERY interested. Self interest? Sure but we certainly don’t have HR or an employee assoc to fall on.

Some get labor organizers into Allstate anon to protect job: its your RiGHT by law but you think I trust this POS employer? Whoever reads this send notices to all labor organizers anonymously to come assist us with this constant BS

Last I checked Allstate does provide health benefits to employees. If you think it's too expensive then I don't know what to tell ya but it's the same way everywhere else.

Contact the media ???? A publicly held company decides to centralize some operations, offshore some others to run a more efficient operation and reduce expenses, at a company that has the HIGHEST expense ratio of its peer group. Unfortunately, that results in a reduction of the work force, and the relocation of others.
This is a hot media story ??? I empathize if you’re an impacted employee, but this is not an exclusive. Companies (including our competitors and others in the financial sector) are reducing their work force by 10X what Allstate is contemplating.
Good luck with that 60 Minutes expose !

Do you know what an expense ratio is ? Have you ever listened to one of our earnings calls ? Allstate has the highest expense ratio (expenses divided into total revenues) of any top 10 insurer. Granted, much of that is agent compensation (which the direct writers don’t have), but agents aren’t going away, and leadership is addressing agent comp (as you can see by other threads on this site). Every quarter, the analysts that dial into the earnings call hammer us for the expense ratio. They’re going to reduce expenses, and people are far and away the biggest expense.
It s—s if you’re impacted, but either they fix expenses, or Allstate continues to shrink.
Before someone weighs in on executive compensation, that’s why there’s a Board. There’s a committee that signs off on exec comp. Management can’t just make it up.

If you think the recent rounds of layoffs and mass outsourcing to INDIA have harmed the claims employees and insureds then I urge you to reach out to media outlets to let your voices be HEARD.I'm sure insureds will be pleased to learn the company they ARE paying an extrabloated premium for supposed superior customer focused qualityeach month has SILENTLY laid off THOUSANDS of Americans and outsourced their jobs to India without letting thyme know or by reducing the cost of their bloated ABOVE industry premiums. Why pay such a HIGH Premiumif the work is Being performed in INDIA jusT Like EverY other Company? [This is not the company it used to be]. The current leadership no longer seems to value their hard working and loyal employees or their insureds even though they're the meat and potatoes of the business. IN SHORT, they have been blinded with greed .. It is ENTIRELY unethical for a smallclique of greedy people at he top to screw so many GOOD people so they canbloat THEIR already bloated pckts with extra schmeckles. The current leaderships actions go completely AGINST Allstate's longstanding values and are completely un-American. . good luck.
