Ageist and s-xist. Such a shame when Analog has so much potential to make a difference
I was among the first let go 2.5 years ago. Help was promised but the recruiters they got me two wouldn't talk to me, the third was so green he was useless. Thank Ghod I was picked up by Infineon with a much much better deal.
News from central Europe: I was notified today that my position has been eliminated. More layoffs are coming soon.
Just received two notifications of layoffs on my team.
Round of layoffs is occurring now. Employees are been being notified this week.
They will have another layoff of legacy LTC employees the end of October later this year in 2020 per Schedule E right before Thanksgiving. They will keep doing this the end of every October; Schedule F, then F, etc. until the majority of old LTC employees they no longer want are gone.
Eliminating high salaries is always popular with investors and shareholders. ADI is now just as well known for layoffs as it is for it's cutting edge technology, which is not a good thing for seasoned employees. It's a shame the Director of HR and the GM of manufacturing don't practice what they preach. If early retirement packages are really that "good", why didn't they take advantage of these early retirement options?
It is a 10% RIF company wide.
70 workers laid off in Silicon Valley this week (legacy LTC). Irish inbred MBA managment ( Vince and Hasset) know how to do only two things:
1- layoffs. They get rid of experienced highly paid people to get short term benefit. But in the long run these layoffs cost more than their short term savings. So the managment resorts to the only other thing they know how to do which is:
2- Acquisitions. They acquire highly successful and profitable companies to compensate for ADI's lack of innovation. Then they apply the outdated MBA cost saving scams by reducing benefits and conducting layoff. The surviving bright Engineers leave ADI to get better pay, leaving the average and below average Engineers.
And the cycle continues while the thieves at the top rake in tens of millions.
Any layoff in Greensboro?
