I'm in senior management. Expect a layoff coming in the next 2 months.
It is only common sense to expect more layoffs this year with the evolving Economic conditions, tech integration and automation, new locations being brought up to capacity, and redundancy of departments that integration creates. Give it about a month or two and you will hear discussions. They will try to hold off announcing anything as to not to spook employees. They do not want an exodus of their best employees. Well, at least I do not think they do or maybe they do to save money after all automation is in vogue. LOL.
Not sure how the TD Ameritrade acquisition will now impact Schwab but it was the start of the last layoff discussion once USAA. was acquired. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/charles-schwab-buying-td-ameritrade-105818742.html
haven't heard of anything brewing but there was a new survery sent to many schwab tech people. This was not the usual gallop poll that comes in May.
