Let's see...Sales reps are clueless and being jerked around by management. No more excuses like Trump's tariffs are k–ling business. (If that is true, explain Microcenter, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.) There are no fulltime employees now except for supervisors and managers. There are only a couple of cashiers now at the most in every store. 10 days before Thanksgiving and Black Friday and there is no merchandise in the stores. Yep, the handwriting is on the wall. Elvis has left the building. The fat lady is singing. It's over because it's over. Fry's is going down the drain. It's circling the toilet rim faster and faster every single day. Remember to turn off the lights on your way out. And don't let the door hit you in the a– as you are leaving.

I just "yelped" Fry's in Diluth, GA and it said that it has permanently closed.
i usually come to thelayoff for my own company but i just had to come the fry's page because i just went to the one in houston this black friday and my god the place was DEAD. Empty shelves and entire empty areas galore with the last bit of stock spread as thing as possible to cover empty retail space. It was a far cry than when I was a kid going there. I bought a few rolls of solder and a couple of $2 soldering pens and got out as fast as I could. I'm sorry, i dont' even work for these guys i'm just a shopper but if you don't see the writing on the wall I don't know what to tell you.
If the posts are factual does that automatically make them negative?
Hmm things to ponder.
Are negative posts a sign of low self-esteem?
I read the sane article. Did you read the whole thing or just the first paragraph, which is greatly misleading.
The article writer goes on to say its been months that they've stated this with no evidence of any success. The article writer does a good job of posting facts, like official posts shelves will be stocked soon but never are, etc..,
If anything the article points out all of the lies, or if you want to calk the “intentions”, that never came to fruition. Its not hard for anyone to look at the companies words, then compare the results. What do you call a friend that keeps telling you he’ll pay you back in two weeks, repeating the same thing every two weeks. Me? I calk them totally untrustable.
I read this new Article from 11/19/19
”Fry’s Electronics is apparently going through changes, specifically with their main business model. They are changing from their normal retail approach of buying stock and reselling it on their shelves, to a consignment approach similar to other big companies like Walmart and Best Buy.”
Don't worry about the lights, the power company will eventually turn them off.
I was at their HQ store in San Jose and that place is a ghost town. Black Friday is like a week away and shelves are empty, including the storage area in the back corner. 1 guy on the cashier, another guy in the returns area who also does the exit receipt checking - that's the only 2 employees I saw. They're probably going to liquidate everything on Black Friday and then just close up shop.
