Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Hasso just sold a big chunk of his SAP stocks

What a sign of trust in Hasso‘s own empire
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-sap-chairman/sap-founder-and-chairman-sells-100-million-euro-stake-holding-now-6-2-idUSKBN1XU26M
Given Hasso’s 6.2% stake in SAP its unjustified to suspect that ‚the r.t leaves a sinking ship‘ but its a strange move nevertheless.

Dear friend, I am a recycler, too. Don't be too hard on me, please. I was just trying to be humorous in a rather sad affair :-). Warmly, Earth.

@127KT6bO-2oqn You were doing well until your strange "Recycle or Die" comment... as if that is at the same level of hysteria/delusion as those other items you bundled it up with. So... yeah. Recycle or Die. Or, at the very least, make your children's lives pretty rough.
Think.

Yeah right, totally strange move. He owns stock worth EUR 9.5 bn (!) and sells stock for EUR 0.1 bn. That's a tiny sliver of pocket change. THE SHIP IS SINKING!!! HE MUST KNOW SOMETHING!!! THE EARTH IS FLAT!!! RECYCLE OR DIE!!! Jeezzz....

What does the repeated "Hollywood Bill" mean given he's a New Yorker?

Really? Tanked? Year over Year its up about 35 points on the Nasdaq. It hit the 137 level twice this year (after Q2 and then after Bill left), and is down a whopping 1 point since hitting 137 two weeks ago. Now, if you're suggesting that, somehow, the CFO resign is an external factor that doesn't reflect how stockholders view the company, its strategy, etc... well... I'd say that all you wanted to do there was to be contrary and to post what you thought was a clever knock on Bill. Now, as far as your expert analysis about the share price over the last 4 weeks "going south slowly but surely"... its been hovering between 137 and 134 over the last 4 weeks... up slightly over the last week. So... what in the world are you talking about?

In case your your comment relates to SAP‘s share price in the past four weeks - it went south. Slowly but surely.
The big boost happened when Hollywood Bill threw the towel.

The XETRA + NYSE don't appear to share your concern...

@127KT6bO-flt:
If you are the average stakeholder of age 75 nobody would notice. But this is Hasso, the founder and head of the controlling board. Plus the moment in time (Hollywood Bill literally jumping ship, two inexperienced stop-gap CEOs, Elliott) isn‘t average at all.
I call that a strange move!

I don't think it says anything about trust to sell only .1% of your shares when you are 75 years of age...given average life expectancy.
