What is their actual responsibility? I know what I read on the wire but I'm wondering what mgnt actually is requiring this person to do. Nobody at my club has an answer.

I'm waiting to see what this position entails.
My manager told me the hours would be rotating......one week 4am to 12:30. The next week would be 3pm-11:30. With rotating days off. You would also be over the merchandisers. Who has time to lead merchandisers and club pick up.......
I'm just wondering how much longer it will be before my club closes.....this place is going down hill so fast......
Only 240ish clubs will be getting the position. They will be the equivalent of a merchandising lead but focusing on CPU.
Eliminate other positions maybe but not this one a– wipe I asked a simple question. This lead position is here to stay as technology moves forward. Answer the question asked or shut up it was asked towards mgnt not you.
Didn't they do away with the "club pickup associate" position when they went to block scheduling? We where told at the time that the floor merchandisers were to stock as well as pull orders. So a lead position for club pickup will make that person solely responsible for all the online orders. Hope the position pays well at least forvwhat your're gonna go through.
Hope there's an open spot for you when they eliminate this one in 6 months.
They need to give all club pick up more money.
This lead will audit the orders that the club pick up associates pull. They will also handle the bigger orders from our "big business" members. Ensure are pulled in a timely fashion. Great idea, i have audited a pallet before and found all type of merchandise that should not have been on the pallet
From my understanding, it will be a lead position over club pick up and ship from club associates.
I think this position will be on a learning curve for quite awhile until reality actually proves what this position entails.
