Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Is anyone interested in saving this company except the employees?

The employees , sure as hell, didn’t create this mess, but they are, most definitely, going to pay the price. I really don’t buy the story that that the leadership isn't aware that layoffs are only a temporary fix that ultimately brings the company closer to its end. That gives the conclusion that they aren’t interested one bit in keeping this company alive any longer that they need to fill their pockets. How can people work and give their best knowing that, even if they don;t fall victim to layoffs. Whichever way you put it, the best solution is to leave this sh–hole of a company

New manager: failing, blames old way of doing things, restructures the way they have seen it done elsewhere, offloads good people, new way of doing things failing, offloads more people, is offloaded themselves or moves to infect another part of organisation. New manager: wash, rinse, repeat @teradata

Which employee would want to waste their time reviving the company and getting good leaders? That is the job of the board of directors and they have failed. The job market is red hot ... employees need to get better jobs and move on from this sinking ship.

employees should help in picking good leaders and have a hostile takeover of this company. If they want any chance of revival of the company.

I'm not sure the employees are wanting to save the company. They know it's a sinking ship and are either surfing it for a paycheck or using it as a springboard to a better company. TD has enough assets that they can circle the drain for years with everyone dipping their beaks.

Well, I said that for years. Leadership team gets the bucks that the employees earned.
