The faculty coordinator was let go at our campus. Was this true for all ai campuses?

Ours was let go in Houston.
So the Bastrop deal was phony. It figures.
How about AI Dallas? What news.
The Bastrop deal is one of the many "deals" that ws promised to AI campuses. We were supposed to get a new building, new programs, new resources...and none of it happened.
If you scroll down the main page, there's an announcement as well as a link to the story. Go to: The Art Institutes Selects Bastrop As New Central Texas Location.
@12Au5xRp-2ebj What was the Bastrop deal?
@12Au5xRp-2usz I used to work at that Campus. I thought the staff/faculty were a pretty solid bunch but corporate made it difficult for any real changes to be made.
No cuts at Miami so far, we still have department directors, dean and classes starting as usual in couple weeks unless something pops up in meantime.
Any word on what's happening at AI Dallas? And what happened to the Bastrop deal? It was big news a while back.
@12Au5xRp-2elo San Antonio laid off some full-time faculty yesterday. Some faculty (part-time) won't be coming back with all of the layoffs. Austin is in real trouble and Houston (the one-time leader in Texas) has fallen really hard. I suspect that more people will resign, quite or just won't report for classes in the New Year. EFP will close each school one by one, I would not be surprised if Winter will be the last quarter for most if not all AI schools. The EFP was only a temporary solution, a solution from the DOE. The DOE is only interested in collecting student loans.
Vb is a joke!! Watch out for the finance department and the alliance with the campus director. Both crooks!! Merry Christmas
@12Au5xRp-1apf At Va Beach, the campus director is still registering the students, I believe.
@12Au5xRp-1xwe Which campus? I didn't think there were any full-time faculty left.
After the campuses became independent, I honestly thought the worst was over. But it looks like this might be it. Enrollment is down across the board. I feel for the students and the faculty more than anyone.
2 quarters left at best. Some schools will only have 1 quarter before the doors are locked. There will be no teach-outs.
Full-time faculty on some campuses were let go today.
All educational chairs and faculty coordinators were let go across all campuses. Limp through one more quarter and k–l off the schools one by one.
Department chairs across the board are gone. Campus Directors at some locations are gone, faculty coordinators at some locations are gone.
It seems a great time to shut down. Interior design chair in Atlanta was also let go. All the accreditation required structure gone. Operations and academic in control of one. WOW!!!
Interesting to see how the academic chairs in Atlanta was also let go. Virginia Beach campus director still there. Maybe he can do everything....while the department of education is not looking....
Houston just lost Gary Eaton (the dean) and the faculty coordinator. Not good. Not good at all. The end may be near.
How can they afford not to have a faculty coordinator or a registrar? So who's making the schedules, etc?
Did they give a reason for it? I didn't think there were any more positions left to cut.
Virginia beach...Austin fired the campus director.
Which campus?
