Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

One more sign......

For those of us that were at the rally meetings just after Keebler left dad.....remember when we were told by our regional leader (the one that fell off the ladder) that Kellogg would tank? Well look now! Even after they sold their cookie business! On fire, without the expense of dsd! Gaining share points and making money 💰!

We made it through the last Christmas in dsd! “Supply chain is still in the process of cutting waste” according to DVP! Ending dsd will be the final piece!! Dsd may have been a powerful advantage one day, but it’s no longer cost effective! Next Christmas Mondelez will be warehouse.....it’s coming in 2020! I can guarantee you!!!

I think I’ve been right for the last few years and am feeling really good! I think you may be in for a little bumpy road! Maybe you like that? I don’t and prefer to live in a reality that is a bit more certain. To each their own, but I’m a believer that dsd is ending and I’m happy to be in a place where it won’t effect me anymore! Mondelez has become such a toxic place to work, happy to be gone!

We've been planning on a dsd exit since 2013.
2020 it comes to fruition!!

I think someone is missing the point....this is about Mondelez going warehouse, not about failure. I think the point someone was making was that Mondelez senior management stated at the rally (and I heard it too), was that Kellogg was “doomed” and their departure from dsd was an attempt to save themselves. An act of desperation so to speak. That statement sure seems to be inaccurate!

I truly feel sorry for those I know who work at Mondelez who are miserable, realize the reality of dsd, feel stuck, and allow management to treat them like dirt cause they feel they have no other options! They prey on people!

Wow. It looks like someone is upset that mondelez isnt failing. Sounds like they quit out of fear and now they just want to confirm their choice by hoping we fail.

A harsh reality for some I think! Economists predict a recession like 2020, not a good time to be unemployed! People have had years to react!

Happy Holidays!! We made it through another year without any layoffs! What will 2020 bring?

For the record, there is no “new DSD”. That’s a figment of your imagination! This “new DSD” as you call it, is simply a transition from DSD to warehouse!
Kellogg stock is on the rise! You have tunnel vision if you don’t see their growth! RX bars amongst other things. They dumped their cookies to focus on market trends, Mondelez just keeps celebrating every birthday of their product and adding new flavors to Oreo, which BTW is not the industry trend!
If this “new DSD” were so powerful don’t you think we’d see Tate’s in the lineup? Nope!
Look at their other segments of business...they are they biggest losers in the convenience business.
There is a lot bigger picture than some seem to think! Their stock has come back close to $20 points this year, without DSD and without Keebler! That upward trend is far more telling! The share points Mondelez grew sure doesn’t look as good with the expense of DSD on the back of it!
Get over it, DSD is ending!

Nabisco isn't leaving dsd!! The new dsd is a huge cash cow!!! Tons of money in dsd

Kellogg stock was 82.55 when they left dsd, now at 68 and change. We went from 39 in January to 55 and change, we are growing, they are not.
