Tried to post from HE today. Could not. My theory is that what's left of the inept IT department is blocking the postings going through their router to this site. Nothing else to do. SAD and PATHETIC!
Security was beefed up at the entrances to the buildings today, VERY EARLY in the morning. Extremely unusual, even for a "lay-off" day. But no comments or posts here about that today??
Yep, IT found us. But they haven't found ME!!! I'm still getting my naps in my special place in the abandoned building. Security never shows up like this unless there is a lay-off. Who was let go today? What groups?
Departments? Anyone know??? I'm still here. Sad, but true.
Cheap Christmas brunch yesterday... Scrambled eggs were tasteless and somewhat watery, even with extra salt. Pancakes were bland, unless bathed with syrup. Potatoes were actually good, and the bacon wasn't bad. The fruit was fresh. Didn't bother with anything else. Not all that bad for a freebie. But I spent the afternoon on the throne. The eggs ran through me like a Japanese bullet train. But I ate well.
Lots of 'pot lucks' in some of the remaining areas that still have some people left today. Food everywhere. It was truly "The Last Supper".
It's over folks. Accept it.
