Was layed of from my job today, due to slow time from winter is how Sears worded it. From what I was told they'll most likely be shutting down my whole district in Upstate NY very soon anyway. Don't even care about it anymore. Just end this freak show now already!!!!

Well they vacated Rochester then Buffalo all there is now is a Sears in Horseheads (not far from central PA) and a Hometown in Warsaw (kind of south of the old Batavia Kmart). Buffalo was down to a single Sears store for almost a year before that and the Kmart before that was inner city and had virtually no stuff with protection agreements and such (very limited on appliances even for a Kmart). Where is the business supposed to come from?
Buffalo and Rochester were pretty big markets.
I mean Buffalo had like 5 Sears, several Sears Hardwares (3 or 4 I forget), something like 5 or 6 Kmarts (A few closed around bankruptcy but I don’t know when plus maybe 3-4 outliers that weren’t near major metro areas) a few hometowns. I found a newspaper article stating they wanted to open another full line Sears in the area not long before Eddie came around.
Rochester had like 4 or 5 Sears, a bunch of Kmarts. The store in Greece had tons of appliances.
All gone. Nothing sold, no protection agreements, no service because nothing is gonna be sold with no stores.
Just cause a tech gets layed off doesn't mean anything about closing down. There's so many district's in the country with technicians all over. A&E as a whole is extremely profitable and will be the very last asset that will be touched or kept an sold off to someone. They are in a sense "untouchable" and yes the top performer trip is still a go for the Bahamas this year.
@1rei Who's posting that A&E is untouchable? Think everyone's posting that A&E is profitable, and only total mo–ns like Eddie and the sycophantic failures under him could manage to f— it up as much as they have, because there are regions that are tech free entirely. No techs have to stay, the job market is tight.
Someone posted that A&E was doing great, pretty much untouchable!

Due to "slow time" thanks to no one wanting to sell product to Eddie because he's been making late on payments if at all for years and years
