Won't give it away but the city begins with a W. Wow, thin assortment of goods to buy, real down vibe in a store that has always seemed nice and upbeat. Feels like a going out of business sale. Tons of stuff out as shelf filler. Sad, really sad.

Don't matter how wonderful a store is. A lot of store's that closed were that way too.
Walnutport is a very well managed store and it is a very well kept and clean store. It will remain around for awhile.
I was at walnutport about 2 weeks ago and it was very well stocked, this is a nice store and one of the nicest I can recall in the Kmart realm in many years. I think it's relative isolation that keeps it going. Wallyworld is a decent distance away in every direction and I don't get the impression that th he folks in Walnutport/Slatington get too far from home.
The description matches every Kmart really.
@12KUcPbT-2weu Yeah....sure it is...
Everyone can calm down. There are no planned store closures in this area. Things are turning around for the better and merchandise will be coming in.
Guess this person hasn't a clue about counties. Oh well time will only tell when it will shutter. Rumors are heavy about this store.
Um, where exactly do you think Wind Gap is located?

"This article is about the borough in Northampton County, Pennsylvania."
Northampton Co. does reach beyond Easton/Wilson/Palmer. Bonus points, where was the Easton Kmart?
I guess we'll have to be content assuming the place is "a breeze in a crack"
Thanks! You narrowed that store down.
The scary thing is it wasn't a "closing" store (yet), and alleged to be one of the better stores. In Northampton Co. And hasn't been on any of the closing lists. I don't want to call it out because the manager us a nice lady who really tries and I hope lands on her feet when this all comes crashing down.
Is sad. Know this store and it really is a shame. Was a good store at one time.
