Until i see a hiring freeze, I refuse to believe there will be any layoffs in the near future.

Your "sources" haven't been right for 10 months, why are they right now?
My sources say 35,000 coming.
At this point I’m begging for layoffs. F— driving to Everett I’m going to be commuting for 5 hours a day on 23$ an hour....
Everyone I have seen leave the company in the last nine months is back filled. Once back fills stop and they stop hiring brand new positions then we can discuss layoffs
I have seen people in training (skills process center) get laid off.

I don't know what company you work at. There has been a hiring freeze on for the past 9 months. To get a req approved you need SLT approval and need to promise your first born to Boeing.

I heard they hired a bunch of people before the last layoffs. I don't know why they would do such a thing. Maybe so they can report numbers back to Chicago, tax breaks. Whatever the reason be. I work right next to SPC in Everett and that place is packed. Doesn't make sense to me.We are all ponds and doubt that human emotions have anything to do whether we get laid off or not. I have a year in and am expecting to be laid off. A lot of stress over the unknown.
