It's a valid theory, but 2020 hasn't fully played out to see how many more rabbits magic Eddie can keep pulling out of his hat using Judge Drain. They both may very well see 2021 in some bizarre state as a single store somewhere (like Guam for Kmart for example). This whole circus just keeps on keeping on. I did hear a manager friend of mine tell me another list is supposed to be published Tuesday. Not sure why no one is posting anything here about another list...
Not to say the article itself is incorrect, but to say it's from Forbes is a bit misleading. Anything from a /sites/ page is basically a glorified blog/editorial and not actual Forbes reporting.
Somebody literally posted that earlier. And also the title is a question "Is Sears.......entering its final stages???" So it is only asking a question, they are no definite closing announcements in there. Yawn.
