Im a new member (1yr) in one of the support org. By this time realized that we wont get any salary hike or bonus yearly, overtime (some do, based on mgr pref), lot of politics, mgr doesn't care if u r not his fav. Just felt like not care, no value attitude. So long timers and expert ppl please advise how to get growth in support org especially if u r not your mgrs fav.

Get the F out of there pronto.
After 12+ yrs in support I can honestly tell you that there is no growth there. Try to do courses (if allowed to) and move the heck out to a place that cares about employees. O is only interested in making money and support costs money.
Support is primarily about customers. We don't care about those unless they are currently in our sales pipeline for something cloud related. Otherwise, we already have there money and don't give a hoot. So there is no real career growth here for people who do that kind of work. If you like working with customers, you need to move to a company that cares about customers.
You've been there for a year. Now you see what it's like. It's not going to get better. Your choice – but don't say we didn't tell you. Find a new job ASAP.
