HCL/Xerox Severance Package?

Has anyone received the 2 week notice confirming end date with the severance package they will receive? Do they give 1 week for every year of service up to max 12 weeks and if so is it at 100 percent of your pay or is at a reduced percentage? No one at the core can seem to give any insight upfront, BIG surprise. Just not sure if you do try to hang in there until the end thinking you will receive this kind of package or whether you will get jacked around and receive some sort of garbage package like you get nothing because you haven’t been with HCL for a year.

My last day was December 18, 2019. It's a 8 week severance regardless of how long you've been with the company, it could be 24 years to 35 years (8 weeks PERIOD). HCL will pay for your left over vacation pay and a BONUS if you're lucky.

I was told it is 1 week per year up to 12 weeks. Plus your stay bonus.

What was explained to me by HR is that you will get paid the 8 weeks if you are a D2 employee and 12 weeks if you are D3. They are the last Xerox stated packages based on years of service. So one week per year up to the stated max of 8 or 12 weeks
You will get paid any unused VACATION time
You will NOT get paid any floating holiday/floater time and you will NOT get paid any remaining or accrued sick time.
If you had any VACATION days in 2019 you Did not use then check LMS and see if it’s listed. If it is then screenshot it for proof as you will probably need it.
My guess is you will need to fight/prove you are owed it but you are entitled to it.

Yes I signed all the proper paperwork and my last pay check was wired to my account and was not paid out with the last paycheck, and I have reached out to someone today and last week but no response

@1mdr
FYI your separation letter would have given you the total and exact breakout of all $ due to you and the date of payment which is the next payroll period following the current schedule, so if you do not know or have this you did not do something right

@arr, I am not wrong, I am in the know, do you work for a core as that is what I was posting about, minimum severence is 4 weeks and maximum is 8 weeks, plus they honor stay bonus in your last pay
2019 is over so nobody would pay you for time not used last year, I am talking current year as we are in 2020
Why would you not have taken your earned time last year, that is foolish of you

I think the previous poster is incorrect. I received my two week notice 3 days ago, and it says my severance is a certain amount, which if I divide by 12 comes to exactly my weekly pay (salary / 52). It didn't say anything about vacation makeup pay since I only took 1.5 of my 5 weeks in 2019, so I'm guessing I will probably get the shaft on that. My last day is Jan 17th. I did learn that we can keep our cell phones if we fill our certain paperwork, but the number and service have to stay with whatever carrier we currently have. I'd love to buy my Xerox Laptop, but haven't heard if that is possible.

Severence is 1 week per year of service with max of 8 weeks, yes 100% of pay, if eligible for stay bonus you will get 2nd half (as we all got first installment of bonus already) plus you will get your final paycheck and get paid for any unused vacation and floater day hours earned
