Wasn't today supposed to be the day?

C&S is a mess with restructuring and layoffs. They’ve cut our Dept by half and eliminated multiple LOBS. Retraining everyone that’s left But there is not enough work to go around for everyone that’s left. My money is we will get hit again in February or March with the layoffs once they see how much work is really there and how over staffed we are.
Behavior health was hit hard which Ambrose is a part of. The dates were correct. As far as details who knows. Has there been any confirmations for this month's dates of the 8th?
Layoffs have happened everywhere. All over the country, all over the business. UBH, Optum Rx, customer service, fraud, doctors, nurses in clinics, telephonic nurse case managers, pharmacists. The list goes on and will keep getting longer.
I can confirm peter a. Conducted a mass layoff on a webex. 100% accurate.
To everyone talking about what did and did not happen. Does anyone have any details about what regions and departments were laid off? Very little has been shared. I have heard of a handful of FBCs, VPs, and some in Quality and Practice management
MANY people have been laid off and this site has been spot on with several dates. I would not discredit everything you read on here.
12/23 did indeed have multiple layoffs. BH was hit very hard!
I have been told that there is another round of restructures underway in UHC Government Programs (C&S and M&R) and know of some people being involuntarily moved to new roles. Haven’t heard of any cuts though so far.
I was about to ask the same. I think that a lot of this is rumors and bogus posts. I am also pretty sure a post on 12/23 was fake as it said Peter A. laid staff off on a webex. However, no one that I have talked to knows about it and in fact state Peter was on vacation that day.
According to a lot of people, this site is good and bad at the same time. I strongly feel that unless there has been an action taken or have some serious confirmation, they need to stop spreading word as it gets people scared about their job, as I was one who was worried.
