Empty, arbitrary demands with absolutely no prior thought or conceptual application. Just subjective, baseless spewings from management. We have broken terminals, lousy, inexperienced hires, managers who cannot lead, and meaningless, mindless dictates all while they pretend we have resources needed to fulfill their demands.
We have a Pro event going on now, and 90% of the staff including management is all on vacation!
Yet, they demand and expect metrics.
They dictated to place LADDERS, in the main lumber drive aisle between registers, and when we said we need to get P.E. through here constantly to load Pro contractors, we were told, stfu and do it as per corporate.
NOTHING makes sense.
The capable, willing, and dedicated employees that arrive on time every day ready to work, and work well, get no support at all from ANYONE!
THAT, is why we are all leaving. THAT, is why Lowe's is failing and will continue to fail.
Top level management are perceptual animals. They see, they knee-jerk react. No thought, no sense, and all irrational whim worshippers. They are "mystics", wishing and hoping their arbitrary, nonsensical visions make sense in reality when they dont.
Lastly, this new "Loyalty" program sign up for Pros is absolute sh*t. When I try and dign them up, they say what is the benefit? I tell them what cortp tells me - "more to come".
No answer, no REASON as to why even sign up.
Just take your big checks and stfu. Disappear. Hide in offices like the rest of the empty suits we have in stores you lousy clowns. You cheese d*cks couldnt think your way out of a wet paper bag.
