All of our TLs are attending a mandatory virtual training session. What is this all about?

Everything written in these forums about Kronos being a giant pile of tuck is completely accurate and not even close to being an exaggeration. Please for the good of Whole Foods someone who has any sort of authority trolling these forums, please make it go away. For the amount of money we are paying for Kronos, Whole Foods could pay a grad student 35 dollars (on a store charge gift card) to p–p out a better program that would be Whole Foods specific. What is probably the single biggest thing we need to do at Whole Foods? Work the UNFI load. When do we do that? Before store hours. How many people does Kronos schedule to do it? Zero. They constantly talk about how "it learns" but it never ever learns anything. Every schedule generated get 100% rewritten.

Kronos Genius: hello how can i help you?

TL: Does kronos do sup schedule?

KG: No, you need to manually put that in.

TL: what bout my buyer?

KG: No, you need to manually put that in.

TL: what bout my atl?

KG: no, you need to manually put that in.

TL: what bout myself?

KG: no, you need to manually put that in.

TL: what bout my cash office?

KG: no you need to manually put that in.

TL: what about my ca?

KG: yeah we can put that in.

TL: But i dont need 6 cas for wed.

KG: You need to change their availability.

TL: They are all available anytime any day.

KG: Then you need to manually change that.

TL: why do we have kronos?

KG: So they can create a position for me and i can get paid. And so that you can call me n waste your time because there is nothing more important than you spending all day creating a schedule n not pay attention to customers.

For small departments like seafood where they have 5 people. 1 TL 1 ATL 1 buyer 2 TMs. So in this case the TL does 60% of the schedule. Kronos does the other 40% and its all wrong all the time. So TL changes everything and ends up doing 100% of schedule.

Can someone please tell me why da tuck we have kronos then!!!!??!!!!!

Cant make this $h/t up

Kronos don't give a tuck!!! lols, right on. It really doesn't. Completely useless for whole foods. It's like making a bowler use a ping pong ball. The people in charge of our decision to use it should get fired. We can cut our own labor. Kronos is not saving the people who get paid the most any time.

TL here. I do schedule bef kronos does. Kronos is waste of time. Piece of c-ap. I do sched a lot better n a lot faster. Who ever oversees kronos at regional has no clue how dumb this software is. Every one is laughing at this useless c-ap. And I am a store support tl with 55+ tms So seafood that has 6 tms, kronos does it, sea tl redoes it. Takes him all day to redo because he is not savvy on navigating the software. Just for 6 foking tms!!!! Wow and to make things worse he goes into overtime because of it. Want to save money? Start looking at TLs who dont knw how to use computers n let tms get their foking hours!!!! There.

I have stopped using Kronos. Every schedule it produced was so bonkers it wasn't worth the time it to fix it while only making 15% changes or whatever their limit was. If we actually went with the schedules Kronos made the store would be non functional.

Its the same availability you always had. So just write it down on paper. No one will separate you for it. Only thing if your availability was always minimal, kronos will be not nice and overlook you over others who have better availability. Once shifts are covered then thats it. You wont be able to ask for more hours. That’s all. But it will change based on store needs. And now we are getting iphl which will make it a lot worse for all regardless of your availability. So yeah start looking for another job if your availability is minimal. Your TL can add you more hours up to their discretion. Start buying them coffee or apples if you are not one of their favorites tms. Fav tms will get more hours as always. Kronos did not take that into consideration at all. Oh well....

It's about how Kronos will be making the schedules instead of the TLs. We TMs had to make ourselves available for 16 hours a day on the days we work, so Kronos can schedule us either for opening or closing shifts. So yeah, stability goes out the window. I guess those of us who don't have that open availability will be dealt with... A store I know that's been testing the software has been in chaos since it started. TMs were shown two piles of paper: one was to fill out availability, the other to fill out their resignation.
