Apparently the hours are being cut just for the part-timers, but my store recently (as in within the last several weeks) hired several part-timers. This has me worried that instead of hours being cut for them they might be considering cutting some of us full-timers altogether.
Does anybody know if this is true and if I should be worried?

Yes.... you should always worry with cvs. They do nothing that benefits the employee.
Ps: it’s all about numbers and yes you are a number. Anything to hit whatever number they are aiming for.

Are your hours changing starting on the 26th? If so, you should already have signs that notify customers of the change. If that is happening in your store, then yes be worried because hours will decrease. Otherwise, unless your receiving self checkouts, there aren’t any planned hour cuts. Best course of action is to ask your SM.
