I have noticed that following the last list, any new closings have just been a store here, a store there, but no 50-100 store closing list. Maybe this is how it ends. Just continued dribs and drabs 1-2 store closings at a time until HE/EL decides to pull the whole plug on whatever’s left at that time? To be fair, this methodology would give off the idea that EL is still trying to save the company, while at the same time slowly close it down. Thoughts?

Sears is well below the number of stores that Montgomery Wards, Toys R Us, or Circuit City had at their final announcements. There's no need for another list.
I honesty think nothing is going to happen until around February because maybe the liquidators still need to clean out the previous closed stores.
I hope they make a big list again. If the just do 3 stores per Month, it will take 60 Months (5 Years) to get rid of the stores they have! They need to make faster progress like that and step it up a few notches and stop dragging this charade out.
Go ahead and stay with the company, they'll continue treating you as the utmost concern! All your seniority will matter when you retire, because there's plenty of money coming in on huge sales of merchandise. While you're also dreaming, dream up a new world where Iran and the US love each other, will you?
I sure hope not. This drib-drab, teeth pulling is annoying. They have about 180 stores left, right? They should do 2 huge rounds, like 90 each, and get this nonsense over with. I want these dumps gone in 2020! Announce a big list, Ed, let's go! Stop dragging your feet and close these stores already!
That’s more because that’s what vendors will send. If that’s all the vendors send that’s what you have to stock the shelves with. They found someone who will send something other than totes, so if it’s microwaves and hunting clothes so be it.
Avenel NJ Kmart looks like a closing store. Hundreds of mens hunting clothes in the seasonal area, hundreds of the same orange boxed microwave, no shhet sets or bed pillows to be found since November, and an entire section of the store walled off with high counters. They must have hidden the plastic kyacks in the back.
Eddie Lampert is trying to save himself. No vendor or supplier want to risk of being shafted by this clown.
