Any rumors/talk of combining the MTM/OAPM roles in stores. I’ve heard quite a bit of chatter from operations partners that this may be happening soon.

Most stores will be down to only 1 MTM.
what is an OAPM....an ops asset protection manager?
not all stores have these positions, correct?
I’ve held both roles before and have worked a wide spread range of hours, including closing and overnights (as an MTM). Excluding AP functions and the occasional work order that AST is full capable of putting in, all functions of an OAPM were once owned my the MTM. They ran recieving/logistics, Omni, owned safety and compliance along with their usual merchandising processes. Could easily happen, especially in larger stores with 2 or more MTM’s to divide ownership. However APM’s or some type of AP leadership would need to be brought back.
I love this board for all of the wacky conjecture. If you think that anyone could do a combined OAPM/MTM role then you don't know either job. The OAPM role alone already has a ridiculous number of responsibilities, include working nights for AP coverage. That really doesn't align with being an MTM and working early morning shifts with the support team does it?
Well if your merging district your gonna merge position
What call at 2pm? I didn’t hear of any call
What call was at 2pm?
why MTM? Obviously none of this makes any sense, but if you were to combine, RTM would make more sense than MTM.
The call today at 2pm eastern time will share more information.
MTM is merchandising team manager. (The ones who open the building) Some stores have many, i'm almost certain most stores have at least one.
What is Mtm ?
My store has multiple MTM's. . . . .none of which know a damn thing about operations nor AP. That would be hell on earth!!
