Seriously, new hires get paid more ($2 more/hour) and some getting hired on with benefits and not on contract. It has been over 6 months since employees found out about this rumor until enough of us got together and demanded answers from our managers.

But they released the email about the GEMS review back in December for all of XBS and then management in house has no idea it’s happening ??
Smartest thing to do is change jobs every 3 to 5 years, jumping up in salary each time.
common practice at a lot of firms, you have to leave get another job, i can earn more repairing dishwashers now..
I know in our case, they can't keep people to fill the HCL temp roles. So the higher pay is a way to entice people to stick around for a few months for c-ap jobs.
Fairly typical practice throughout the company past 10 years or so. Did absolutely no good to complain to management as their response was it was out of their hands.
Not the first time this has happened. I remember when they launched the XSAT organization to overlook the techs schedules. There were no raises so the people that were selected to start the operations were still receiving pay based on their previous role. The program eventually expanded across the US so they had to start hiring contract employees off the street. In order to attract enough people they had to post at a higher wage. Of course since it was contract and posted on the local job sites the current employees could see the wage being offered was much more than they made but because they were Xerox they weren't allowed raises.
Then ended up having supervisors with 5 years in with X making less than the people they were training off the street.
Visentin made it clear no raises last year or this year. Just that lump sum. So the only way to get one is to get another offer and they’ll give you a raise to stay IF they really need you. So don’t get your hopes up.
I’ve been asking for a raise for 6 months. Keep getting not sure if we will get any raises.
What new hires and what position?
What answer were you given? Are they giving you all raises to match now?
Demanded? Bye.
Because You've been scrwed over by Xerox and are making less than market wages. It was always known that the way to get a pay raise at Xerox was to quit and go someplace else.
