What are you guys bringing home for unemployment compensation? How long can you collect it for? How much can you make on paper to still be qualified to collect?

It’s comparable to state unemployment I have had although definitely not enough to live on for any amount of time. It’s enough to sc-ape by on and look for a job. I believe it is for six months not sure but that’s typically how long unemployment lasts as I have been laid off a few times.
The United States is definitely not the best country to be unemployed in or need any type of medical attention or need any type of workers compensation. Regardless of what the politicians or the media says, workers are exploited and basically treated like used property. If you were unemployed in one of the so called socialist countries the government would be obligated to actually take care of you and get you back to a good job, not some place making 1/3 or 2/3 as much money and working in even worse conditions with no union, no healthcare, no retirement. You may as well just stay at the railroad honestly, sh– is bad everywhere and if you’re unhappy at the railroad I can pretty much guarantee you won’t be happy anywhere else unless you have some place specific in mind you know you will enjoy no matter the working conditions or what the management is like. But railroaders generally complain a lot, I reckon probably because that’s all railroaders can do in this country is sit and complain since them or the union don’t really have much for legs or anything in terms of actually improving their situation they just complain about it instead. And it’s always the same complaints for the last 30 years or more it’s always the same and local rumors. Maybe you’re just sick of all the complaining, you can take your pick between that and the non railroad jobs where everyone is a company s— up
$78 dollars a day. 5 days a week.
Someone said 60 percent of what you made working but from what's been posted here, that's obviously not the case.

How long you get to collect depends on how long you were there. I was there just over 5 years and I can collect for 5 months. But before 5 years I think it’s only 3. Just find a job under the table the government doesn’t need taxes screw them
$733 every 2 weeks. I dont know the other answers to your questions.
I take home $730.00 every two weeks on RR unemployment.
I heard it is somewhere around 70-90$ a day but do not know how the tax part works.
