Heard that there is a program underway for major layoffs in January. Something that starts with a “M”? Anyone know anything about that that can be shared here? I’m fine taking a package, just give me a little bit of notice; we’re all adults.

I gotta admit, like I’ve read elsewhere, you hear about layoffs all year long. After a few years of it, you just get numb to it all.
It probably is an undertaking similar to Execution 2.0 from 2014 / 15 - where SVP's with no direct reports who likely do not generate much business value get CNX'd. I can think of a Charlie 14 who I would love to see get waivers.
“Going through exercises”, what does that mean?
C14 and C15 going through exercises to determine who stays and who goes.
i know, it;'s called Mmmmmmmmmmmmm...........layofffs.....
I hope M stands for Mortgages
Where did you hear this from? No names of course. There’s always roving layoffs at Citi. There has been for years, no surprise there. Save your money, sharpen your skills, keep your resume updated.
The rumors of layoffs are so prevalent that you become numb to it.
