They cut me off bout 3 weeks ago. I'm in transportation. They have cut so deep that has been times that not 1 engineer or conductor were rested or available to work. Making trains run behind very bad. But still have not added back. 2nd time they have laid me off and I'm not saying I want go back but I'm hoping to find something that will provide a living I dont have to make as much so if I do find something I'm happy with that is more job security I want go back when they call tired of working for a place doesn't care about the men and women that work for them.

The “official” cut off for the 2020 plan is what the end of the quarter which is February? That’s a massive amount of cutting that will have to take place to get to that magic 55 number should be interesting to see the glass palace figure out where they will cut from next.

They said they would be at 55 by the end of December so get ready for big numbers laid off after thanksgiving. The shops are already trying to restructure jobs to keep production moving at the pace the palace wants but those on the floor already see that it isn’t going to work out the way management thinks it will it will slow down more then it is currently. The only direction this company internally is going is down in morale, production, and efficiency (the metrics they use are extremely questionable I for one cannot see how less people are more efficient especially when stuff sits for hours). December is going to be a red month and not because of Santa’s suit but for the slaughterhouse that the company will become trying to cut whatever they can, it just might carry over into the new year as well but look for December to be the worst.
