Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Another desperate attempt at attrition?

It was announced yesterday that many associates in Jacksonville will be moving from the Southside Campus to Deer Lake. Most of the people affected were recently brought back in from MyWork, so why were they not placed there to start with? To note, it appears that most are over the age of 50 and are one or two person teams, meaning most of their team have already been centralized in a core location. The bank just keeps pushing and pushing, trying to get employees so upset, they will just leave.

Making them miserable enough to quit saves $everence pay, so some bean counter gets his bonus.

If you think about, OVER 50. PFFT they will be replaced and the feds will never know. Look if you are the remote app, get a new job. Your days are numbered. Leave the back.

So these are all the folks they brought back, and placed in the "corr al", in the 300 building?

i know they are trying to make people miserable to quit. I liked it better when we just severed people to reduce expenses vs. having everyone dissatisfied.

I had not heard that but I'm #1 on some managers s–t list so I try to keep my head down. Not surprised though. Let's drive long term expensive knowledgeable associates out the door and if we have to hire someone with no experience why not.
