I received an email from something called TAPFIN / Verizon looking for Ex Verizon employees looking for contract positions at Verizon? Scam maybe???? Any idea ???? I have had several mangers I use to work with reach out to me I’m the last few weeks wanting to know if I want to come back as a contractor....I’m a 6/28 VSP.

Yep, i got the same email, i have coworkers that left on 12/28/18 that are now back as contractors getting paid more money with benefits but no vacation or sick time.
VSPer from 6/28. I got the same email today and would only consider it if they offered a FTE position rather than a contract position. I'm happily employed making slightly more than VZ, but would consider going back for the benefits.

One slight oddity is the ability to search for "current" vs. "future" openings.
btw. I found a job in this insanely hot job market with a substantial pay increase 3 weeks after VSP.. and I'm , let's just say "older", as in way past eligibility for AARP :-))
Verizon shot themselves in the foot treating all their employees, that made them all those billions, like sh–. From a network standpoint they’ve screws themselves with shady dishonest practices.
