Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

I have lived, and worked in Palestine for 20+ years. A common rumor was, UP filed for having this rock-solid agreement nullified seven times; with two going to the Supreme Court. All failed for the UP. Its surprising they are going for it again. I would assume, UP is trying to get Palestine to the drawing board and then offer a buy-out like they did at a car shop in Kansas. (I think Coffeeville). With only a hanfull left in Palestine, it can be assumed the city will crumble. So much for my ex-coworkers.
