Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Report From Sears Nashua

I was working there all day, we had 5 services centers open with at least 2 cashiers at each center. The lines were 10-15 deep most of the time. Lots of clothing and tools sold, also lots of weighted blankets were sold. I haven't seen the numbers yet. The biggest problem was the POS which is POS and kept breaking down. I can't believe we are closing soon. The mall and our store was a mob scene all day.

@qflq I Know! What's next? Water is wet? Sky is blue? OF COURSE his store was busy Weekend after Thanksgiving. Every department store in the country was busy! It would be a huge upset if it WAS NOT busy, this isn't news. It's like writing a post about a fast food joint being busy at 12 Noon. AND? What do you expect LOL?

It was the ghost of Christmas past. Like 1977

AND? Is there a point to this story? Why would a store not be busy Sat. after Thanksgiving? It would be a big story if it WASN'T.

How many were buying stuff with the $10 off $10 coupons though? We don't have any good merchandise left anyway, people were just grabbing random c-ap for free with the coupon, then leaving.

The only reason you're getting people is because you're closing. These vultures don't care about the items, they only care about getting stuff they think is cheaper- during liquidation that's rarely the case.
